I’m a journalist and seasonal wildland firefighter who grew up in Eugene, Oregon. After receiving my bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism and a minor in Arabic studies, I moved to the Middle East where I based myself out of Amman, Jordan, as a freelancer.
Currently, I split my time between pursuing stories as a journalist and fighting fire as seasonal firefighter in Oregon. I have covered stories throughout my home state of Oregon and internationally in Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Oman.
