I’m a journalist and seasonal wildland firefighter who grew up in Eugene, Oregon. After receiving my bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism and a minor in Arabic studies, I moved to the Middle East where I lived and worked in Amman, Jordan, as a freelancer.
I now split my time between pursuing stories as a journalist and fighting fire as a seasonal firefighter in Oregon. I am currently based out of my hometown Eugene but have covered stories throughout Oregon and internationally in Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Oman.
